Neotex 4.0 center, a new service offered by the Competitiveness Pole Monastir-El Fejja (MFCPOLE), is organizing its first event, its official kick-off, on Thursday, July 20th, 2023.
This neotex 4.0 center project is part of the National Initiative «Towards an Industry 4.0 in Tunisia» launched by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy with the support of the European Union and the Special Initiative “Decent Work for a Just Transition” – Invest for Jobs, mandated by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ Tunisia.
This event is open to all stakeholders in the Textile Clothing (TC) and Technical Textile (TT) sectors in Tunisia: companies, startups, researchers, I4.0 technology and solution providers and support structures.
This event will be an opportunity to present the new center, the services it offers, the actions already undertaken by its team and the next steps planned as part of its activities.
The experts of the center will also present an assessment of Industry 4.0 in the TC and TT sectors: why and how to switch to Industry 4.0 for textile manufacturers and where Tunisian companies are in their digital transformation approaches.
They will also take this opportunity to present the preliminary results of a survey conducted with industrialists on the sector’s predisposition to switch to Industry 4.0.
Finally, I4.0 solution providers will exhibit solutions adapted to the needs of companies working in the TC and TT sectors. This will be an opportunity for industrialists and technology providers to meet and discuss collaboration opportunities.
This event will take place on July 20, 2023 at the Neotex Technopark Monastir multi-purpose hall starting 9am. All stakeholders are invited to attend.
