The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy announced the opening of applications for the selection of companies to participate in the new edition of the Tunisian-German Cooperation Program: “Partnering In Business with Germany” (2024).
This program is launched as part of a collaboration between the Tunisian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy (MIME) and the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate (BMWK). Its objective is to develop technical and commercial cooperation between Tunisian companies working in the industrial sector and related services and their counterparts in Germany, through:
- Training of business leaders in different areas of professional application such as production and quality management, commercial management and commercial cooperation, as well as the preparation of business plans, which will help them conclude partnership agreements with German companies.
- Personalized support for participating companies for a year with the aim of establishing bilateral cooperation relations with German companies.
- Organizing field visits to successful German companies to discover approved organizational and production processes.
- Participation in specialized exhibitions and trade fairs organized in Germany according to the sector of activity of each participating company.
- Creating a network for participating companies through access to a platform bringing together more than 20,000 international companies.
Participation conditions:
- Propose a candidate occupying a managerial position in the company, who is fluent in English and has decision-making power.
- Being a company currently in operation with at least two (2) years of experience.
- Being a company working in the sector of industry and related services, or that of information and communication technologies, or intelligent industry (I4.0) or renewable energies. Companies working in the tourism, commercial and real estate sectors are excluded.
- Being a company wishing to discover the German market, technologies and production methods and establish cooperative relationships with German companies.

Candidates will be invited for an interview with the Tunisian and German program managers in order to discover the cooperation program that the company wishes to develop with the German counterpart.
Program funding:
- The German partner will cover accommodation, health insurance and travel costs during the stay in Germany (2 weeks) to make professional meetings (BtoB) and attend specialized exhibitions and trade shows.
- The participating company will cover the plane tickets, travel stamp and visa fees.
